It’s been non stop sessions with our wonderful clients over at Susan Elise Shiebler Photography (check out these Behind the Scenes!) I have always been passionate about photography, but it was through working with my mother that I truly realized my love for photographing the beauty I see in people. I have met so many incredible individuals these past few years. It’s such a pleasure to hear their story and be able to produce a photo that reflects the very heart of that client. Seeing in the eyes of so many people has taught me more about my perception and how we connect to others. I feel blessed and privileged to work alongside my Mother in an effort to give people the experience of a beautiful, personal, custom photography session. What we do is not just recording light and exposures to create the final product of an image, but rather its looking differently at people, not just seeing them as they are but for who they are. It can take a lifetime to master the art of what it is to be a photographer, but I find myself closer to my goals when I am able to connect with my client. The moment we develop a rapport is when my job transforms and the deepest expression is found. It all comes down to, what story do you want to tell?
